Our fantastic science program, Real Science-4-Kids, is specifically designed to break down and deliver complex concepts in a simple, yet effective manner. Each class is based around an experiment and open inquiry questioning designed to stimulate the natural curiosity of children towards the world around them.

During this course we intend to:

o Ignite a passion and desire within our students for learning science

o Empower students to learn through inquiry rather than the delivery of facts by the teacher

Handwriting sets us apart from others almost as much as our fingerprints. Legible and clean handwriting is something that though expected academically can be difficult for some. This course is great for those looking to up their handwriting skills!

During this course we intend to:

o Use multisensory teaching techniques to address all learning styles
o Deliver fun, engaging and developmentally appropriate lessons to promote quick success
o Develop the students’ abilities to make handwriting an automatic and comfortable skill

This program is fun and interactive program teaching students the vital skill of creative writing. Our experienced instructor will guide students through a series of steps helping them to express their thoughts, feelings and expressions in a manner, which entices the intended reader rather than simply convey information to them. Our teacher uses a variety of manipulatives and resources along with their extensive experience to build the confidence of the students and access the fascinating imagination and creativity that we believe exists within all children.

During this course students will:

o Construct paragraphs to make short stories, letters and persuasive writing
o Familiarize between different genres
o Develop their general writing skills

In a world of rapidly enhancing technology, our Robotics program will help develop numerous key skills including coding, construction and problem solving. Our highly-skilled and knowledgeable teachers will use Lego Education software and materials to deliver this fun and interactive learning program.

During this course students will:

o Demonstrate creative thinking
o Construct and develop innovative products and processes using technology
o Use critical thinking, problem solving and decision making skills.

Reading today often takes a backseat to video games, TV and other activities. That being said, the benefits of being immersed in a good read are massive. We’re not just talking academic. Reading helps increase intelligence and brain function too! Our All about Reading program is designed to help young people redevelop a joy for books, stories and reading in general.

During this course students will:

o Learn concepts, phonograms and methods required to decode multi-syllable words
o Develop fluency in reading through accuracy, meaningful expression and natural phrasing
o Participate in numerous activities to enhance comprehension of texts

Students will be given a number of short Math investigations through which they will learn and/or practice key concepts and skills. Classes will be interactive with the aim of keeping the learning fun and engaging while trying to break down any negative connotation students may have developed towards Mathematics in the past.

During this course students will:

o Use previously learnt skills to develop and enhance their knowledge
o Discover the science of patterns in Mathematics
o Develop their ability to work systematically to draw conclusions to Math investigations
